LG Launches LG Application Store, Focus on Asia

LG Application StoreLG is a company that is now the third largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world will be launched online store for various mobile phone applications.

LG step reinforce the trend of online applications developed following an iTunes application online store by the Apple in the market. They create a store in the virtual world in which all users can download software and content directly from the virtual store.

LG said that  “LG Application Store” is ready to provide 1400 applications, including 100 free application programs. All applications are available in 15 different languages.

Services will be offered first in the countries of Asia-Pacific region, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and will reach Europe and South America this year.

LG does not have plans to launch this service in the United States because the country is the headquarters of the iPhone and Blackberry.
