Google Release Android 2.0 (Eclair) SDK

By the presence of the latest smartphone using Android 2.0 operating system, Google released the SDK (software development kit) that can be used by developers to create applications on the Android is more sophisticated. With the SDK, many applications can be developed based on the newer features provided Android 2.0.

Developers can also create applications that make users can access various options faster communications whether email, SMS, instant messaging, by using the Quick Connect feature. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth API (application programming interface), a new application could feature peer to peer connection.

In addition to these features, Android 2.0, which is the latest version of the operating system based on Google open source has made a number of new features that is not available in earlier versions. Among other things, digital zoom on the camera, multitouch controls on the keypad, and a combined email inbox messages from multiple accounts. Android 2.0 also supports Exchange to manage e-mail from a third party.

Android 2.0 previously called Eclair code is a version update from previous versions, called Donut and Cupcake. Motorola Sholes which will be released in the US later this month will be the first device that uses Android 2.0 Eclair.
