If you like the ultra slim notebook but less interested on its performance and wanted a dual-core processors in the ultraslim notebooks. Do not worry, there is news that Intel is preparing to release a line of dual-core CPUs for slim laptops. According to Digitimes, Intel has plans to upgrade the ultraslim notebooks portfolio that include dual-core CPU processors before the end of 2009.

Intel Core 2 Solo SU3000 will be removed and replaced with a Core 2 Duo SU7000. Pentium SU2000 will be replaced by Core 2 Duo SU4000. Celeron single-core will be replaced by the Celeron SU3000 dual-core. However Celeron 700 single-core will be maintained to meet the needs of entry-level market. The same thing applies to SU9000 at a higher market. Intel is scheduled to launch a platform Pine Trail-M to netbook in the next December. However, this product will be marketed to retail early in 2010.
