WIND mobile was a brand new network in Canada. The Mobile Ninjas have quite a bit of information about the launch of the new phone company. There will be 3 rate plans to begin with and no contracts available. There is no system access fee (SAF), and any calling within the province is considered a local call.

And, what about the mobile phones? To start off the smartphone lineup, WIND Mobile will release the HTC Snap, Blackberry 9700 (BlackBerry Bold 2), Huawei U8220 and an unnamed Samsung phone with full keyboard. One of WIND’s strategies is to put a Microsoft Surface table in every single store. A hefty and pricy measure, perhaps, so we’ll see how well it pays off for them. Certainly take it with a grain of salt, because this is all from an anonymous source. Via: Unwiredview.com
