In this year, RIM has released some types of BlackBerry smartphone. And the most different from the previous is a touchscreen Blackberry phone.
Among the touchscreen BlackBerry phone that had been circulating the BlackBerry Storm 9530. This Blackberry model has a full-touchscreen display. Besides the BlackBerry Storm, before the end of 2009, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 will be launched by a few phones carries in the USA. Verizon will launch BlackBerry Storm 2 in the near future. The touchscreen display of the BlackBerry Storm 9550 uses the SurePress technology, but it’s more user-friendly than the display of the original Storm. Moreover, the hardware seems to be nicer on the new smartphone.
That is the full touchscreen BlackBerry phone, the other is both a QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen display.
It is rumored since April that BlackBerry Magnum will be the first RIM’s smartphone to have a touchscreen display (480 x 320 pixels) and QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, the person who took the picture of BlackBerry Magnum wanted to make a joke and literally put a Trojan Magnum condom over the smartphone’s display. For now, we still do not know when exactly RIM wants to officially announce the BlackBerry Magnum.
