Palm Pixi, the second Palm WebOS smartphone finally unveiled. the new Palm Pixi is the thinnest Palm smartphone with measuring 111 x 55 x 10.85 mm and weigh 99.5 grams.

Palm Pixi is a candybar phone with a full QWERTY keypad and touchscreen display. The back cover of this smartphone is rubberized, thus being durable and scratch-resistant.

The specifications of Palm Pixi:

- 2.63 inch touch screen display with 320 x 400 pixels, and full QWERTY keypad
- A gesture area below the display, enabling intuitive gestures for navigation
- 2MP fixed-focus camera with LED flash
- Qualcomm MSM7627 chipset
- 8GB of internal memory
- Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP
- Proximity sensor, light sensor
- EVDO Rev. A connectivity
- Desktop-class web browser
- GPS
- Accelerometer
- 3.5mm headset jack
- MicroUSB connector

Palm Pixi will be first available via Sprint, the price of Palm Pixi should be announced later this year. According to the Palm Pixi’s press release, Sprint offer the Palm Pre for only $149.99 (after a $150 instant rebate, a $100 mail-in rebate and with a 2-yr contract agreement).
