Samsung Corby with CDMA network is expected to be launched in India. The Samsung Corby S3650 CDMA variant will come in the Open Handset Model and will be able to operate across all CDMA carriers in India, like Reliance and Tata.

The new Corby S3650 would be India’s first CDMA touchscreen phone to provide access to social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc).
On the features front, we are told it would be exactly the same as the GSM variant so we are looking at a 2.8 inch QVGA display, a 2.0 MP camera and Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. The price of CDMA Samsung Corby should at 10,000 INR or about $216.
The Corby has been extremely popular and has already sold over 3 million units globally. Since it would be the first such ‘high profile’ CDMA phone targeted at youth in India, we expect it to be extremely popular. As a side note, the GSM Samsung Corby will soon have a Wi-Fi version, called Corby S3650W.
