Sony Ericsson Android and Symbian smartphones for 2010
According to Eldar Murtazin from Mobile-review, Sony Ericsson has “denied” to further support Microsoft’s mobile OS. The Xperia X2 is possibly the last Sony Ericsson device to come with Windows Mobile – the company has one more Windows Mobile phone in development, but it might be canceled.
And since WinMo must be replaced with something else, Sony Ericsson will migrate to Android and Symbian S60. The handset maker already has an S60-based smartphones, although unreleased (the SE Satio), and we’ve also heard about the Android-based Xperia Rachael.
Nokia X6 Without Nokia’s Music Download
It looks like there will be a cheaper version of Nokia X6 CWM, with only 16GB of internal memory (instead of 32GB) and without Nokia’s music download service that many user may not need.
Expansys lists the Nokia X6 16GB as being available in the UK starting February 24, 2010, for £344.99 (about $566). The regular Nokia X6 (Comes With Music included) appears as being available starting November 12 this year, for £529.99 ($870).
Rogers’s Motorola Android phone for 2010
Rogers Wireless offer Android smartphones HTC’s Dream and Magic at the moment, plans to release an Android smartphone from Motorola.
The Android Moto phone will be available sometime in 2010. Details about the handset’s name and features were unfortunately not unveiled.
Rogers could launch any of the two mentioned handsets, since it looks like they will both have GSM versions. By 2010 Motorola may unveil several other Android phones.
