A strategic planning process is a structured, organized and coordinated the activities of managers, do the planning.
The sound of it seems to suggest a long boring meeting in the meeting room, with those responsible for submitting the plans probably half the rooms are asleep. A strategic planning process is an exercise exciting, and gets all the adrenaline going! The process is a visionary journey, both conceptual and directional antenna. In other words, must also be realistic and achievable.
The value of a strategic planning process is that it is not explicit and comprehensive analysis of business and strategic alternatives. It offers a sense of direction and requires an organization explained. Objectivity and focus on them during the planning process of these goals makes drivers subconscious, the guideline for the organization of the shares. Thus, in terms of a structured process of strategic planning, means that they tend to run your business in the right direction all the time, and this is done consciously, without thinking about it.
The result of strategic planning is a comprehensive strategic plan, which serves several purposes. First, serving as a framework for decision-making. Secondly, it provides a basis for more detailed planning. Thirdly, says the company to others, to inform, engage and motivate. Fourth, help with monitoring the implementation and benchmarking, as required. Lastly, it is proposed change, and a foundation for the next plan.
A strategic plan is not a “business plan”. A business plan is much more detailed plan, which has micro-details of the operational problems and implementation and evaluation.
